The traditional first-class Arghavan residence in Qazvin was initially known as the Yazdi House, built in the late Qajar period and purchased by the Cultural Heritage Organization, later registered in the national heritage list. The Yazdi House belonged to Haj Abolqasem Yazdi and is located in the historical fabric of Qazvin, near the Dolatkhaneh area, the Sa'd al-Saltaneh caravanserai, and the Salehiyeh passage. Qazvin, the capital of Iran during the Safavid rule, is considered one of the tourist attractions of Iran due to its museums, churches, old bazaars, and numerous beautiful historical buildings and artifacts. Qazvin ranks first in Iran in terms of the number of historical sites. The attractions of Qazvin are so abundant that throughout history, it has carried many titles, including the Gateway to Paradise, the Garden City, and the Dar al-Saltaneh. The Yazdi House was handed over for restoration and utilization as an accommodation unit in 2019 and officially opened in March 2022 under the name of the traditional Arghavan residence.
