Join us in an adventurous exploration of the twin canyons located in western Iran: Shirz canyon and Darreh Khazineh canyon. In this tour, you’ll see the treasures left by the magical power of nature lying among mountains and valleys. Shirz canyon is one of the gorgeous, scenic canyons of Iran with amazing geological patterns left on the heights of this great canyon. Darreh Khazineh is one of the pristine natural wonders in Lorestan Province. The layered geology of this canyon, the stream in its heart, and the suspended bridge over it have all created wonderful sceneries. Nestled close to these twin canyons are three beautiful wetlands that are home to many migratory birds in different seasons of the year. All in all, this extraordinary experience has a lot of surprises for you. Note that this experience is designated for basic canyoning and is therefore classified as semi-difficult.

Day 1: Tehran to Lorestan
We will welcome you to join us in Tehran. We will embark on this adventure in the heart of the night and head towards Lorestan Province. It will take about 6 hours driving.

Day 2: Darreh Khazineh Canyon
After having our breakfast, we will hit the road towards Darreh Khazineh canyon where you’ll be awe-struck by its photogenic landscapes. After hiking and trekking the paths of Darreh Khazineh and basic canyoneering in the terrains of this natural wonder, we will have our lunch in a restaurant.

Day 2: The Triple Wetlands of Valiasr
We will continue this adventure as we move towards the triple wetlands of Valiasr (aka Gooria) in Pol Dokhtar. We will discover these hidden gems and observe the exceptional vegetation and guest birds feasting surrounding them.

Finally, as the night comes down, we will move towards Kuhdasht County and the local houses in which we’re going to spend the night. We will have our dinner in a local house and among Iranian family members.
