In a half-day journey to Ghameshlou National Park, you’ll enjoy a memorable experience of wildlife and nature in Isfahan. Ghomishloo National Park has nestled beside Shahin Shahr, located in Isfahan Province, right in an hour's distance from the tourist capital of Iran. This gorgeous national park is almost as big as Tehran extending for about 800 km2. The magic of biodiversity in this national park might grant you the opportunity of seeing a thousand of various species of mammals, birds, and reptiles. So, on a safari through the park, we can see herds of goitered gazelles running along the horizon. Above the rising hills, we can see a lot of urial sheep, rams, and wild goats. Chukar partridges and wolves are also observable in this area. Overall, this park embraces a great variety of beautiful species and ecosystems within its frontiers and this journey is designed to be easy for everyone to join.

Towards Ghameshlou National Park
We will set out on our journey on a fresh morning from Isfahan. Hitting the road at about 7 o’clock, we will reach our destination in an hour.

Ghameshlou National Park
We will have our breakfast as soon as we step inside the wild frontiers of Ghameshlou National Park. We will then embark on our adventure through these territories. This adventure includes a safari, hiking, and trekking on the highlands and lowlands of this national park. On our paths to discover the natural gems in this area, we might see the herds of goitered gazelles, wild goats, and urial sheep scattered through the park. We will keep exploring until the sun goes right in the middle of the sky. Interestingly, this district also embraces a great number of wolves whose main prey are the poor gazelles. The chances of seeing a wolf or two are therefore high in this area. You don’t need to worry about them as long as you’re accompanied by our wildlife experts :)

Ghameshlou National Park
This district had been the main hunting-ground for the oldest son of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, Mass'oud Mirza Zell-e Soltan. Besides the natural attractions in the park, there’s the historical palace of Zell-o Soltan that we will visit. This oasis in the middle of the desert has been the place where the lesser kestrels mate and breed. This place is also a very nice and tranquil spot for us to camp beside the water pool and have our lunch under the shadow of lush trees.
