In this thrilling tour, we will search for any signs left by the brown bears to track them in two protected areas located in northern Iran, Kiasar and Parvar. Brown bears are one of the most interesting species living in the most pristine regions of Iran. This amazing creature is also visible in the Kiasar National Park and Parver Protected area of Mazandaran Province. Tracking these interesting species accompanies the excitements of being a discoverer who inspects all the traces and signs to find the trail of brown bear, track it down, and enjoy watching it. Moreover, in this journey, you might come across many other species such as red deer, Persian leopards, wild boars, wild cats, wild goats, urial sheep, and many prey birds that would stick to your memory. Towards Kiasar National Park
Day 1
We will hit the road in the morning and move from Tehran towards Kiasar National Park in Mazandaran Province. This trip takes about 5 hours on the roads leading to the lush northern spots of Iran. We will rest for the night in the eco-lodge to get ready for tomorrow's adventures.

Kiasar National Park
Day 2
We will wake up early in the morning and walk towards the heights of Kiasar National Park. We will move along forests and highlands in search of signs and traces to track down the brown bears. The excitement of this exploration multiplies as we find the signs and feel closer to our targets. We will continue our path across the ecotones between the forest and mountain grassland. Among these picturesque sceneries, we will also have our lunch. We might either barbeque or try a portion of local food in the heart of nature. Besides tracking the bears, we might be able to see a variety of mammals and birds scattered in these Hyrcanian Forests and the Alborz Mountain. In the evening, we will go back to our forest cottage with our guide and enjoy the rest of the night gazing at the sky and listening to her calm voice.

Kiasar National Park
Day 3
On this day, we will take up a new path towards the highlands. Depending on the season and conditions, our guide will lead us through these stunning landscapes, and we will continue searching for any trace of the brown bears. In the right season and conditions, we might be lucky to see one of the mother brown bears with her two playful cubs. We will then have lunch while listening to Mother Nature's whistling to refresh for the afternoon exploration. In the evening, we will get ready to hit the road towards our next destination. We will reach Parvar Protected Area by night, and we will spend the night in an eco-lodge.

Parvar Protected Area
Day 4
Following the brown bears of Iran takes us to another beautiful protected area called Parver. The biodiversity in the Parvar protected area changes as the narrative of landscapes ranges from the northern forest-like areas to the southern steppes and semi-arid areas. In this part of our expedition, we will discover the many species living in this district and observe the gorgeous red deer, brown bears, and maybe Persian leopards. A great variety of beautiful birds like prey birds are also visible in this protected area. In the meantime, we will have a taste of Iranian food for lunch. By the evening, we will either camp or go back to our eco-lodge for the night.
