Take this guided half-day experience, you will be able to see the Iranian followers of four different religions coexisting and neighboring each other in Tehran. In this tour, we will survey Tehran's religious history and visit the important sites that make up its past. We'll visit the Abrishami Synagogue which is one of eleven functioning synagogues in Iran; St Marry Armenian Church located in the city center of Tehran, Adrian Zoroastrian fire temple, and one of the most beautiful mosques of Tehran. This tour doesn't have a historical approach, but its ultimate goal is to present you with a dialogue between Persian Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, and Muslims in Tehran.

Today in the morning at 7 am we will go toward Haim Synagogue which was built in 1913 by the Iranian Jewish scholar Solayman Haim following the Iranian Constitutional Revolution. At 7:30 am the prayer has already started, and we will sit at the back of the great hall watching the rituals. We will be here until 9 am and then, we will communicate about the significances of the rituals for the jews of Iran and how they are living as a minority in a Muslim community. After arriving at Saint Mary Church, the first Armenian Cathedral built in Tehran, we will meet the Bishop of the church. He welcomes us to the garden and then the Church while explaining the architecture, history, customs, and beliefs of Christians living in Tehran. We will be here around 1 hour and then head toward Adrian Zoroastrian Temple on the opposite side of the church.

After entering Adrian Zoroastrian Temple, we will pass through the carved wooden door of the Fire Temple. While a woman introduces the temple and the religion to the visitors, you will have the chance to see the holy fire through a window. Later, we will also visit the Firouz Bahram High school, which is right beside the Temple and was mainly built to host the Zoroastrian children.

At 11:30, we will have our fourth stop to visit Majd Al-Dowla Mosque. This mosque is a place of gathering five times a day for Muslims who wish to say their prayers in a group. Also, you will learn about the 200 years of history behind this mosque and why a religious school is built just beside it. Finally, note that the purpose of this experience is to display the friendly coexistence of these four religions, so this day trip is full of social and scholarly discussions.
