Yazd Water Museum

If you’ve already become interested in the qanats and the water irrigation system of cities and towns in the middle of deserts in Iran, you don’t want to miss visiting the water museum. Visiting this place would be like hitting two targets with one arrow since the building of this museum is a worthy Qajar mansion named Kolahdouzha House that has housed the display of many things related to Qanats such as drilling of the mother wells, tools for lightning and measuring the volume of water, how a water-clock functions, or the customary clothing of pitmen and much more about these magical streams granting life to mud brick cities like Yazd.
