The motherland of many local cultures, Iran, is bound to have varieties of forms of art, handicraft, and a myriad of things to take home. Iran’s art scene categorize into two broad sections: the traditional arts such as Mina Kari, Darayi Bafi, carpet weaving, and the more modern ones like Tehran’s various art galleries and Iran’s cinematic scene. In our arts and handicrafts scene, we try to cover all of them: going from a small workshop in Yazd making Termeh to Tehran’s Museum of Contemporary Arts, showing an original Picasso.
